In her sermon at Trinity Episcopal Church in Collinsville, our rector asked us to reflect on what obedience to God means to us.  As a women’s historian, and this being Women’s History Month, I immediately thought of Susan B. Anthony’s statement after being fined for the “crime” of casting a vote, “Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God.”  Right on!
