via RHRealityCheck.org.  I had no idea that this film is “near and dear” to some feminists.  Certainly I was aware that this is a quintessential “chick flick,” but feminist too?  When I saw it over twenty years ago I thought it was just a sappy melodrama (sorry DD lovers).  Now I’m going to give it a second chance and see whether this really does have a feminist message.
