I think a little of both, given the latest picks for cabinet posts and chair of DNC. Even less changey than I thought last summer. . .

Sitting US Senators are pretty conservative political creatures. Hillary Clinton would be pushing policies that are every bit as conservative if not more so given her affinity for the DLC. I’m with the “anyone competent with half a brain is better than any Republican at this point” crowd.

You have a point, but Hilary Clinton was quite outspoken about GLBT rights and reproductive rights during her campaign. So, I doubt she would have chosen someone like Warren to give her invocation, and she sure as heck wouldn’t have appointed Kaine to head the DNC.
