Same thing, except I was an associate professor not a full professor.

- Drink coffee

For how long have you been playing the guitar? What is your favorite song to play?
I play the piano. Next semester, I’m going to try to start a department band. One of our current professors plays the trumpet and another the French horn. Our new hire plays the guitar. If I can find a singer, I think we will have a rocking band.
I played a lot when I was in high school and college, gave it up in graduate school, then started up again about four years ago. Right now I’m working on a couple of Oasis songs — “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Wonderwall.” I’ve also done “Save Me” by Aimee Mann, assorted celtic tunes (e.g. “Foggy Dew” by Sinead O’Connor/Chieftains) and some bluegrass tunes from the “oh Brother, Where Art Though” soundtrack.

I mostly play by myself but am hoping to start playing with friends now that the semester is over and my time is more flexible.
